When I open MS to Do app and open whether it is an email flagged or a task from my planner in teams when I try to open it, it opens in the web-based instead of the desktop. Am I missing a connector to my desktop or something?

Still facing the same issue
Wow, over 3 years later and still the same problem. Good to know the fix isn't coming anytime soon I guess. Add my voice to the list of people who think it's silly that this is an issue.
Please fix this Microsoft. This seems like a very simple fix to satisfy many people.
Plus the web versions suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.
Makes no sense that you would be in Desktop To Do with Desktop Outlook open yet the link opens in the crappy web version. Who thinks this up?!?
This needs to happen!
