I have updated to windows 11 and my outlook is continually trying to index and is paused alot.
I have installed all updates.
It gets to over 200,000 items indexed then pauses and starts again.
Can you please help with this problem

yes you are right. Nothing has been fixed, still have problem in search index.

Hi John LG - I had more or less the same result. However, after thinking all was now fixed I have realised that it is still not indexing new items and the number of items waiting to be indexed is continually cycling aroung 3500-5000+ and Outlook index is just steadily increasing the items waiting to be indexed. The only way I have found is to keep rebuilding the whole index which is very time consuming but is now much quicker than before the last win11 update.
So I suggest you look again at the status of your indexing, will be very pleased for you if it is still fully indexed!
I am delighted to report that for me, everything now seems to be working perfectly. It took about 3 days to complete the indexing of about 340,000 items. There were some strange events along the way:
I have done email searches and these are bringing up recent and the latest email received as well as the very oldest one. To me that implies that everything is well again.
For me, I say a big thank you to Microsoft for finally fixing this long standing issue. John L G
