Using older versions of Outlook for Mac in business environments
Is it possible that this workaround disables Add-Ins in the new Outlook? Add-Ins worked fine when using Microsoft Sync but the field is greyed out when I don't use it...
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I switch to the new version of Outlook on my Imac, my name from my imap account will be changed to my e-mail address.
How can i resolve this?
Thanks!

So far haven’t had issues, except for sometimes the sync is slow, i.e. web version of mailbox is updated but outlook is not, but it goes away. And I suspect it’s a problem with provider rather than Outlook.
No lost emails so far.
Hey! Thank you for the suggestion, it worked like a charm!
Just wanted to ask if this might lead to some issues later on in the future: such as email not synchronising, emails missing when using different source to log-in, etc.?
I would appreciate if you (or anyone else) had any insights on this. Thanks!
Hi, did u find a solution? I have the same issue :(
thanks
This solution does not work anymore, as in the latest version you cannot uncheck the option for syncing with Microsoft Cloud. It's really a shame...
I am still able to uncheck Microsoft Cloud in version 16.69.1 (current) and 16.70 (beta).
