When I switch to the new version of Outlook on my Imac, my name from my imap account will be changed to my e-mail address.

How can i resolve this?

Thanks!

Was this new Outlook for Mac? I tried this and it did not work because the contact is not editable. I then tried making a 'correct' contact in the hope it would sync but it did not.

Unfortunately whilst this solution works for one of my non-Outlook/Gmail e-mail accounts, it does not work for for my Zoho e-mail account as when I do this fix, I can no longer send e-mails from that account. What happens is, I start drafting an e-mail and it is auto deleted by Outlook within a few seconds. I have tried really hard to fix this and unfortunately I now have to use Zoho direct at the same time as Outlook which has my other accounts which is very inconvenient.

I would really appreciate some pro advice from Microsoft or kind hearted individual on this one.

Hmmmm. I've got the same issue - more than 6 months later and there is still no fix for this. I didn't realise that switching back to old Outlook would "lose" every transaction since I went to the new Outlook. What a cluster....
