Outlook app on iPhone is SOOOOO SLOOOOOWWWWWW!!!

The Outlook mobile app is extremely SLOW! Everything about it! Typing an email is SLOW. Scrolling through my inbox is SLOW. Using the calendar is SLOW. Going into the settings menu is SLOW. Searching is SLOW. Even typing a letter or hitting the backspace key is SLOW!

I'm using an iPhone XS running the latest iOS (13.3.1) and latest version of the Outlook app (4.30.0). I’ve tried everything...uninstalling and reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone, hard and soft reset.  I have deleted old emails to clear out my inbox...no help. This is the only app I have problems with out of about 50 apps on my phone. The phone has plenty of CPU and memory available. On my desktop PC, the Outlook with Office 365 account works perfectly fine with no performance issues. Webmail also works fine.

I opened a support case through the mobile app and was told by Microsoft they're aware of the issue and are working on a fix. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS!!! COME ON MICROSOFT, GET IT TOGETHER!!!

    The post I see are on the apple forums, nothing on MS, any issue as such appears to be Apple specific, certainly I have no issues on various Android devices and iPad 

    I am sorry, but that is not the case. The Outlook App has been having this issue for quite some time. Be it on iPhone or iPad. Maybe there is some backend stuff they need to get sorted out with iOS, but I have seen these same issues for a long time. I try and use it from time to time and it is exactly how it has been described. Terribly slow and pretty much unusable. I have done similar troubleshooting to try to resolve on my end and then some. I have tried goofy recommendations on some of the boards here that should not have any impact on the issue and it remains with the same problems after the attempts. 

      I keep wanting to use it, and want it to be good. It is just not getting done.

    Haha. If you are an Enterprise user, trying to use this Enterprise solution.... don’t. That is kind of what I got from that message.

    It is simply put a very badly built app. Lets not blane iOS. There are no issues using any other email apps, Gmail, Yahoo or whatever. Even st an enterprise level.

    Turning off cellular and wifi on my iPad fixes the speed issue. Not really a fix!

    When the networks are turned On, the problem is back.
