Using Outlook for iOS for personal email and calendar management
The problems of freezing, completely dropping out etc have been happening for over a year. This is every time I use it on three iPhones. My guess is it is related to work account.

The Outlook mobile app is extremely SLOW! Everything about it! Typing an email is SLOW. Scrolling through my inbox is SLOW. Using the calendar is SLOW. Going into the settings menu is SLOW. Searching is SLOW. Even typing a letter or hitting the backspace key is SLOW!
I'm using an iPhone XS running the latest iOS (13.3.1) and latest version of the Outlook app (4.30.0). I’ve tried everything...uninstalling and reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone, hard and soft reset. I have deleted old emails to clear out my inbox...no help. This is the only app I have problems with out of about 50 apps on my phone. The phone has plenty of CPU and memory available. On my desktop PC, the Outlook with Office 365 account works perfectly fine with no performance issues. Webmail also works fine.
I opened a support case through the mobile app and was told by Microsoft they're aware of the issue and are working on a fix. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS!!! COME ON MICROSOFT, GET IT TOGETHER!!!

Same problem for me - admittedly on an iPhone 7.
However, the device functions perfectly well for EVERY other comparable app - and many that would admittedly be considered more complex or more involved.
Is there any official comment from a responsible Microsoft person that I have missed, here?
Is there any official "resolution time"?
Is this perhaps the wrong place for myself as an average user - who unfortunately is bound to this specific setup due to this being my work setup?
/exits stage left, shaking head in utter disbelief
Same issues - its unbelievable. I literally have the same issues with outlook on my computers and phone. I’m mandated to use for work, otherwise in 10 years I don’t think I had an issue with the google suite. How do people put up with this nonsense??
Yea! Most likely an internet problem or a Microsoft problem, it'll most likely be noticed if more people see this...
Same here.
I tried : reinstalling app
Emptied cache memory of browser and then reinstalling app
Took off the background refresh
It’s a real handicap. Work is impaired.
