Outlook app on iPhone is SOOOOO SLOOOOOWWWWWW!!!

The Outlook mobile app is extremely SLOW! Everything about it! Typing an email is SLOW. Scrolling through my inbox is SLOW. Using the calendar is SLOW. Going into the settings menu is SLOW. Searching is SLOW. Even typing a letter or hitting the backspace key is SLOW!

I'm using an iPhone XS running the latest iOS (13.3.1) and latest version of the Outlook app (4.30.0). I’ve tried everything...uninstalling and reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone, hard and soft reset.  I have deleted old emails to clear out my inbox...no help. This is the only app I have problems with out of about 50 apps on my phone. The phone has plenty of CPU and memory available. On my desktop PC, the Outlook with Office 365 account works perfectly fine with no performance issues. Webmail also works fine.

I opened a support case through the mobile app and was told by Microsoft they're aware of the issue and are working on a fix. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS!!! COME ON MICROSOFT, GET IT TOGETHER!!!

This is the worst app experience ever on iOS. I have ised iOS from the day it was released. And no app is so atrociously painful to use as Outlook. I have this same issue on iPhone X running iOS 13. Very happy with the Native Mail and Calendar app.

Outlook support told me the same thing. So I deleted a bunch of old data, did not make a difference. My 365 account is using 2Gb/5Gb...less than 50% used. My gmail account has 10x that and never has any issues. Lame excuse.

So glad someone else has this problem!

I have re-installed all of the Microsoft apps I've previously used to see if any others are effected.

I have this exact same issue with Teams, One-Drive and Outlook.

All other Microsoft apps seems to be okay though.

There doesn't seem to be any issue if I do a factory reset and just install the app, but if I use my full IOS restore then the issue comes back.

So as mentioned - could be due to large dataset due to calendar etc.

I've been dealing with this issue in teams for several months now, the issue goes away after a few weeks until I change my password again (corporate sign-in)

I went through the in-app support which doesn't supply a ticket number.
