Outlook app on iPhone is SOOOOO SLOOOOOWWWWWW!!!

The Outlook mobile app is extremely SLOW! Everything about it! Typing an email is SLOW. Scrolling through my inbox is SLOW. Using the calendar is SLOW. Going into the settings menu is SLOW. Searching is SLOW. Even typing a letter or hitting the backspace key is SLOW!

I'm using an iPhone XS running the latest iOS (13.3.1) and latest version of the Outlook app (4.30.0). I’ve tried everything...uninstalling and reinstalling the app, rebooting the phone, hard and soft reset.  I have deleted old emails to clear out my inbox...no help. This is the only app I have problems with out of about 50 apps on my phone. The phone has plenty of CPU and memory available. On my desktop PC, the Outlook with Office 365 account works perfectly fine with no performance issues. Webmail also works fine.

I opened a support case through the mobile app and was told by Microsoft they're aware of the issue and are working on a fix. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS!!! COME ON MICROSOFT, GET IT TOGETHER!!!

I highly doubt that the large data set is the issue. We have multiple new users with in our organization with newly created accounts and new ipads & iphones all having this issue. It is not consistent either. One might have an issue on their iphone but not their ipad. Or they might have the issue on both. We have wiped the devices. Removed and re added them to our Intune portal for management. Manually loaded the apps vs having them pushed. The problem persists. It is not related to cellular data either. Same issue on wifi even if we remove the SIM cards.

Lots of frustrated field personal who are being slowed down as this seems to be for ALL microsoft apps not just Outlook

Haha. Reduce the data if it is an option? Shouldnt they know of this is an option on their broken app?

If any app developer expects someone to factory reset their device to maybe help their app run, they have got to have the worst app development team.

Am disappointed in MS to not sort this out already. What ever happened to a great experience across platforms, Satya!!!
