  1. Are you asking us for help to recover your Facebook account? Or are you asking us for help in recovering your Hotmail account which happens to have been also hacked along with your Facebook account?

answer: I want your help in recovering my facebook account, the hacker is the one who changes the email i dont even know that email address or did make it.

  1. Is the Hotmail account you provided above the recovery e-mail being registered by the hacker on your Facebook account which thus prevents you from accessing that account?

answer: yes the email that i provided is the hackers email address. I live in ph so its only natural that the language should be english when you try to recover your facebook but then it change into vietnam language. so i cant retrieve it.

  1. If you're trying to recover your Hotmail or your Facebook account, what message are you getting? A screenshot would really be helpful if you get an error message on an error code.

answer:

the first one is when i try to retrieve it. but then facebook reply that it was "sorted out" but its not.

Image

the second time i try to send another valid ID so i can retrieve it, but then, look what facebook reply to me, so this is where i think that the hacker is from vietnam.

please help me your my only hope in retrieving my facebook account. and im doing this so your company wont be used for hacking pursposes.

Hi samswalker,

Thanks for the additional information you've provided us. Unfortunately, we cannot help you with this uncomfortable situation you find your self in because of two very important reasons:

  1. From the screenshots and the answers you've provided you are indeed trying to recover your Facebook account.  Now Facebook is not exactly a Microsoft product and we here do not have the tools nor the training to be able to assist you with this issue.  However, you may want to actually visit Facebook's Help Center page and follow this guide which details what to do if you have a hacked FB account:I think my Facebook Page was hacked or taken over by someone else.
  2. As for the hacker's Hotmail account that was registered as the recovery e-mail in your FB account, I noticed you sent me a private message that more or less asked if we can deactivate that account or give you access to the hacker's Hotmail account to close it.  I'm sorry to say this though but we cannot do that for you regardless of any proof you can present. You can actually close Hotmail accounts provided that you own them and have access to them but you cannot close Hotmail accounts of other people.

Respectfully,

Glenn Rue

Honestly, I don't know! I did file more than one report with FB and sent all my documentation. At the same time, I found my Oculus account and I filed a report through them. I had learned about Oculus support on one of the redit threads or somewhere. If you down own one, do some research using Oculus support to help. They were pretty responsive if you consider every 3 days a reply responsive! I badgered and sent them about 30 emails and attached 17 screen shots each time of everything including screen shots of my FB data downloads from 3 years ago. Oculus kept telling me FB was trying to reach me. FB was using my hackers email to send me links to reset my password! UGH! It was FB themselves who sent me the original warning that someone was trying to hack! BUT the hacker managed to change my email and delete my phone number just as FB was trying to warn me! So, for about two weeks, FB would say that I needed to confirm my identity which I did in every reply. At some point I decided it was a lost cause and I went ahead and started my new FB page. About 10 minutes later, I saw an email in my original email inbox that gave me a link to go ahead and log in and verify again. The LINK FAILED! Guess why? My FB page came up with my original email and the 'failure notice' said that that account was not associated with that email. As soon as I put the hackers email into the system boom! I was back in! Somehow through all my trial and errors I was able to see the hackers FULL email ID which was a hotmail account! I didn't know if I would have enough time to change the email 'out of the hackers' email and back to mine! ...But somehow after about 20 minutes I had it set up again with the 2 factor authentication. Everything was back in place but there were a few messages from my friends that said 'hey is this you'? My entire account had been blocked though for those two or three weeks. My advice? Take screen shots of emails going back 100 years that you got from FB. Have your friends report your account was hacked (if they can still see it) If you can't find your original FB when you type in your name use your unique URL, email or phone number.

Funny thing is, now that I am 'back in' I feel so disconnected to FB. I've only posted that I was hacked but have returned. I comment here or there on someone's post. But FB is of little use to me other than supporting my Marketplace shopping habits and all the ancestry groups I belong to! :) Of my 700 'friends' only three family members reached out to me. It's such self centered drivel and I can't believe I'm still there! LOL...You'll get it back! Just don't give up! :)

And by any means, please do not click a suspicious links (e. g. "links about like you win an iphone and so on") and if you ever click it and says/requires you to log in your said accounts "PLEASE DON'T EVER LOG IN YOUR ACCOUNTS IN THAT SUS LINK/WEBSITE" or "DON'T CLICK THAT SAID LINK (This the most important part)."

So if you don't want to experience that kinda thing again. It's best if you use a gmail account as you associated email account (IMO- In my Opinion and cuz it's fast) and an active cellphone number.
P.S. Your gmail account must also be secured like turning on all those Security features like "2FA" or "Two-factor authentication."

Another p.s. - If you borrow a phone or using another device - be sure that you don't click the "save password" or something related in saving your account in that specific device; also don't check the box "remember me" - it's just a precaution but you can't trust anyone when it's related to your personal account - be wary of everyone including family & friends LOL.

You must also check the devices which your account was logged-in - be sure to remove or log-out the accounts logged-in if you're not familiar with the device - log-out sessions.

Be sure to change your password every 3-6 months.

You must also turn on the "Log-in Alerts' (Facebook)

And for more info - You can just search it up on internet "How to secure my Facebook account"
