On Sat Jan 8, 2022, my outlook/hotmail account was temporarily locked due to "unusual activity". I requested a verification code, and my account was unlocked. I changed my password. I logged in OK the next day. I can receive emails, but as soon as I send an email, my account is locked again. What can I do?

Mine is finally back to normal after 3 days. I don't know if it was directly due to me clearing out my sent folder (some 1700+ emails! ) but it seems to have coincided with this action, so if anyone hasn't tried it already, I advise you to do so.
