Hotmail account repeatedly locked

On Sat Jan 8, 2022, my outlook/hotmail account was temporarily locked due to "unusual activity". I requested a verification code, and my account was unlocked. I changed my password. I logged in OK the next day. I can receive emails, but as soon as I send an email, my account is locked again. What can I do?

    Hi Jason,

    I'm encountering similar issues as well. Tried to do everything this forum has advised, but nothing has worked. Would it be possible for a team member to contact as I can't seem to get anyone through phone support

    I was locked out for a week. First I'm assuming you're using a mail program like Outlook or Thunderbird. Is that correct?

    Try using a different phone number... someone you trust. All that will be sent is a code you have to use in 10 minutes. If you get your account back, just use web-based mail. It's worked for me so far.

    I use TBird and had the same problem.... the account was locked twice after trying to send an email. So I didn't have it for a week. But I'm back in using my partners phone because mine was blocked. Her's was too but that lock went away after a few days.

    Mail seems to be working so far but I'm not using TBird to send email. I'm just using hotmail web service in a browser.

    I can't access it because it is temporarily closed! I can't access the security code in order

    to log in and remove this ban, I get a message that you have exceeded the allowed limit!

    I contacted you yesterday and you welcomed me, but I am surprised that your message is very

    frustrating that you do not see the email that has the problem in your system, how is this!
