Can't click to dial from outlook 365 ios app anymore?

When dialing in to conference calls from my Outlook 365 app I have always been able to just click on the number in the "location" field of calendar meetings.  However, after the ios 13 update I can no longer click on numbers and am having to enter them manually!  Sometimes this involves not just the 10 digit phone number, but a long "conference code" number as well, all of which was previously dialed with one easy click.

Is there any way I can get that functionality back?  I need to be able to dial directly from outlook invites.  That's the primary benefit of using them.

    I opened a support case with Microsoft, and was this is the response:

    "I apologize but the inability to tap on the dial in numbers is a recent change in the app. This is not a bug but rather is now the intended behaviour in the app. For now, you can submit a request for this feature through Settings > Help & Feedback > Suggest a feature. I hope that addressed your issue. Please feel free to start a new conversation with us anytime."

    So Microsoft went BACKWARDS in functionality, as the location field used to recognize phone numbers and addresses. I can't stress enough how important this functionality is. For those of us who travel and attend multiple meetings/calls every day, this is a huge inconvenience and honestly dangerous while driving.

    There is still an option in the app settings for "Open directions with Apple Maps or Google Maps" but I am unable to find any field where addresses are actually recognized, clickable links (body of appointment, body of email, etc.). What is the point of this setting???

    COME ON MICROSOFT, GET IT TOGETHER!!!

    yup same here.  after I posted that I got the update.  no fix.  let my TAM know he is back to product team.

    How would an iOS update fix it? Microsoft admitted they broke the functionality with an update to the Outlook app. I suppose its possible, but seems unlikely. Anyways, I think I'll update...Can't hurt!

    It doesn’t fix it. I’m on 13.2 and it still happens. This is a Microsoft problem, not an Apple problem. 

    Where is Microsoft in this thread? Anybody home? I’ve started using Apple’s native calendar app to get around the issue but that’s a pretty crude solution.

    iOS 13.2 is out.  I have been told by my TAM this is supposed to fix.
