Outlook app for Android keeps crashing

My google pixel 2 phone recently updated the outlook app. Now the app crashes on startup. I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Ive removed my work account as well. Still will not work. I get as far as the adding account page then it crashes and ask to send a report.

    Hi Oliver,

    you write "first please clean all the cache date from the App on your mobile ..." but how can this be done if the root cause for this thread is "Outlook for Android crash on start up"? Is there a way to clean the cache withoutlaunching the app?

    If you can quick open outlook, navigate to the 3 lines on the left, setting wheel on the bottom, click on your account, and then reset account. It took me a few trys, but if you can hit that quick, it may work. The reset helps with sync issues, but it helped me out!

    The reset worked for me . Thank you.

    This works 100%. You can multi-task every 2-3 secs between outlook and other opened app till you can hit the "Reset Account" but it definitely fixed the auto-close issue. Thanks for the hint!

    I just upgraded my Pixel XL 3 to Android OS10. Now Outlook opens for a second and then crashes. I can read any emails..
