My google pixel 2 phone recently updated the outlook app. Now the app crashes on startup. I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Ive removed my work account as well. Still will not work. I get as far as the adding account page then it crashes and ask to send a report.

My hotmail account on s9 keeps crashing. I do not share my calendars with anyone. It's only this personal account I have on this phone and cannot open the app at all. As soon as I open it crashes on my s9. Please help me.
I had the same problem and after reading that it could be a spam email I used the very few seconds that the app remained open and erased as many spam emails as I could.
!Problem solved!
The emails erased where on the focused tab.

I am having the same problem
Try what i did. Log into Outlook from the website on a PC or similar. Clear all your spam emails and anything else that looks a bit funky, particularly if it arrived around the time Outlook started crashing on your phone.
Seems to have done the trick for a few people.

Have the same issue Outlook crashing right after opening. No error. Cleared cache, reinstall several times. Issue started yesterday.
