My google pixel 2 phone recently updated the outlook app. Now the app crashes on startup. I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Ive removed my work account as well. Still will not work. I get as far as the adding account page then it crashes and ask to send a report.

I am not sure, sorry. Perhaps when you find it in store, try to Install Webview again, the new version may override the old one. The update on Webview seem to be ok with Outlook now.

Also I noticed that when you scroll down, you can see what email is Webview associated with, there may be several and you can change the default settings so you can change it.

    Good luck!

My outlook email application keeps closing on its own after a while. Also, it keeps saying that outlook is draining battery. What should I do? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled it.

I personally found a solution for it not too recently ago. You need to go into your settings>apps>office>then scroll all the way down where you will have three options, select "Force Stop">Open.

    This should solve your issue.

But I do not see an option which says "office". I have the option of "outlook" and in that option, there is no "Force Stop" option.
