Outlook app for Android keeps crashing

My google pixel 2 phone recently updated the outlook app. Now the app crashes on startup. I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Ive removed my work account as well. Still will not work. I get as far as the adding account page then it crashes and ask to send a report.

    Hi all,

    I "think" I have fixed my Outlook app crashing issue.  I did a couple of things.

    1. I removed my 365 email account, and just setup my personal hotmail account on it....it didn't crash!

    ​

    1. I then added my 365 account...and also quickly removed all the SHARED CALENDARS that was still linked to my account. I did this because I thought it was obviously something to do with my 365 account which is causing the crash. It still didn't crash!
    2. I removed my personal hotmail account...still no crash!

    So for the past 30 minutes, the app only has my 365 account on it and hasn't crashed yet!!  I also tried reinstalling Outlook and setting up again, and "touch wood", it hasn't crash yet!

    I will monitor and report back if anything changes. But I hope this is the fix, and hope it will help others with similar issue.

    I'm having this same issue on both my phone and my tablet. My tablet seems to last a little longer before crashing, while my phone crashes almost instantly.

    My phone is a Google Pixel 2 XL, running Android version 9 and the app version is 3.0.59 - both show as up-to-date. My tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A, running Android version 8.1.0 and app version 3.0.59 - also both showing as up-to-date. I'd been using the Outlook app on both devices as my lone email app to track two Office 365 accounts, a Gmail account, and a Yahoo account. When I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling/reinstalling the app, I only logged in with the Office 365 accounts and was still getting the same issue.

    Are there any updates to getting this fixed?

    Denis, I can't believe it -- this actually seems to work! I've been searching for a solution online, contacting Outlook support, etc., but this is the only solution that has worked, so thank you!!  Re: calendars, I deselected all of my shared calendars but also my own calendar.  Did you leave your own calendar selected and Outlook still didn't crash? (I'm hesitant to try in case it starts crashing again and I have to do all the steps again.)

    EDIT: Aaand, it crashed again.  I hadn't even gotten to selecting my calendar yet.  Back to square one. :(

    I only deselected the shared calendars. Left my own selected. I've been issue free since..even added back a bunch shared calendars too.
