Using Outlook for Android for personal email and calendar management
Instead of deleting the app, I updated the Android System Webview app and it fixed the problem for me. Thank you!

My google pixel 2 phone recently updated the outlook app. Now the app crashes on startup. I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Ive removed my work account as well. Still will not work. I get as far as the adding account page then it crashes and ask to send a report.

Hi Oliver,
My outlook app is now starting to crash upon opening on my galaxy 9 phone as well. It just started to crash today which is weird. I have also cleared the cache and data from the app, rebooted and was originally crashing with an error message at first saying that the email was not responding. But then having removed the app, rebooted and re-installing the app again, the issue has gone straight to crashing upon launching the app. I have made no new changes to my phone as far as security goes. Can someone please help?
Raven
I did not find the Android System Webview app in my list of apps. Where do you find it ? And how do you update it instead of deleting it ? Many thanks for your reply !!

This worked for me. I had other apps crash, not just Outlook, which is what led me to this. Hope that helps!
Thank you so much for your help! :)
