My google pixel 2 phone recently updated the outlook app. Now the app crashes on startup. I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Ive removed my work account as well. Still will not work. I get as far as the adding account page then it crashes and ask to send a report.

I have been experiencing a similar problem for the past few weeks. I have done the same thing that was recommended. The problem still persist. Has anyone gotten any solution to it?
So far nothing in this thread has helped me - I did a factory reset on my phone, fresh install/updates to everything, and Outlook app crashes as soon as I enter my password. From there it won't launch at all - white screen as it starts to launch then immediately crashes.
Will be trying the "email" thing I read --- maybe some email somewhere in my inbox is causing it to flip...

You might have to go into settings on your phone and enable [ installations from other sources on your Android ] before you can download and install an APK . This is in SETTINGS / SECURITY
