My google pixel 2 phone recently updated the outlook app. Now the app crashes on startup. I tried clearing the cache and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Ive removed my work account as well. Still will not work. I get as far as the adding account page then it crashes and ask to send a report.

I had done the uninstall/reinstall yesterday with no success and had to use my laptop for email. Woke up this am and all was right as rain - fixed as quickly as it started.

Yesterday (or 12 hours ago) Microsoft released an update which solves this issue. Outlook app on both of my Android phones is working OK.

I got this problem as well yesterday. Crashes when i open a mail. I tried some of the stuff in here, with no luck, then i updated the app, now it works.
