How to stop calendar notifications repeating every single minute

I use the Outlook app for android App-version 2.2.19 (225) mainline.

When I have a meeting with a reminder 15 minutes before the meeting, I get a notification - this is OK. I then get a reminder 14 minutes before too - not OK. I then get another reminder 13 minutes before - not OK. This goes on. So unless I take action I get 15 notifications. Like most I have my phone in my pocket. I typically recognize the notification without taking my phone out of my pocket.

At least it should be configurable to have 1 or all 15 notifications. I would think most would like to have one notification per meeting.

Hello Everyone - This post is almost a year old now, and as we noticed some folks reporting this issue recently (July/Aug timeframe), we went back and looked if there is any such known issue or bug on our side, we didn't find any. Then we tried to reproduce it with current and older Android devices using latest Outlook app from the store - we were not able to reproduce it either.

So at this time, if you still see this issue with the latest version of Outlook app on your device, then please contact the in-app support for Outlook. Support gets latest logs from your device when you use in-app support, which helps in investigation of an issue. See instructions in this article: Get in-app help for Outlook for iOS and Android - We do want to investigate this issue for a possible fix, but we can only do that if you report it thru in-app support and then work with our Support team.     Samsung Galaxy S9 SM-G960F

    Had the same problem with my Galaxy S7.

    Reinstalled, restarted etc. Still the same problem. Driving me crazy!

    Have a Samsung Gear smartwatch connected as well, and it keeps vibrating constantly due to this.

    I'm having the same problem as well. Every notification reappears each minute until the appointment starts.

    Outlook version: 2.2.121 (253)

    Android: 8.0.0

    Phone: OnePlus5T (OnePlus A5010)

    I have a similar problem - I get the notifications every minute until I clear them, but they do stop when the meeting has ended (as far as I can see anyway)

    Have tried resetting the account and uninstall/reinstall to no avail.

    Same Problem.

    Vibrate (for Calendar event) repeating every minute and do not stop even after meeting end.

    What I've done so far (to no avail):

    1. Resetting Account
    2. (after 1st step not solving) Uninstall Outlook app for Android
    3. Restarted device
    4. Reinstalled Outlook app for Android

    Device/App Detail:

    • Redmi Note 4
    • Android 7.0 (MiUi 9.2.2.0)
    • Outlook app version: 2.2.114 (250)
