Locked Account

Hi, we are in so many people. I'm in the situation where one year ago the locked an account and two months ago another one.

I'm writing in this post:

They say me that I'm a terrorist. I quote their mail:

Our review determined that images or videos of terrorist acts or extreme violence were shared from your personal OneDrive account. Content which contains graphic violence shared through OneDrive is a violation aof Microsoft’s Code of Conduct, specifically this provision. 

 iv. Don’t publicly display or use the Services to share inappropriate content or material (involving, for example, nudity, ****, pornography, offensive language, graphic violence, or criminal activity). 

 Because of the dangerous nature of this content, our terms of use are clear and we conform to those terms, including closing accounts that have been associated with this content, regardless of how the content came to be stored on the OneDrive or the account holder’s intent.  

 Unfortunately, we cannot restore the account or provide any content.

They are threating me as a criminal 

This is a joke or a bad nightmare.

In that account there are photos of my family, taken from my camera, the max violence pic are probably call of duty screenshot :)

• how do I get back my MCP Certification?
• how do I get back my Office 365 PAYING Account?
• how do I get back my Emails?
• how do I get back my Volume Licenses?
• how do I get back my ONEDRIVE data?
• how do I close the suspended account so I can recreate anotherone with the same name? So I cannot lost the mail address?

I've never shared with anyone my content, it's just a backup

Day 15 of my locked account. So much for a 24 hour response.  Microsoft should update their web site to manage expectations - 'we might some time restore your account'. It certainly shouldn't promise a 24 hour response. Calling customer support doesn't help - you don't seem to be able to get through to a human who can tell you what is going on.   My 'offence' was to try to use Skype Out from a different location to my usual ones, I think.

On day 11 with free Outlook Mail locked (SIR1155638, I have 3 of these #s from 3 attempts to fix and this # is the latest) and haven't heard a thing except for the initial e-mail with the bogus 24 hour promise.  

On the second day I filled out the compliancelock form again and the SIR numbers were 3000 apart so I think a lot of people are having this issue.  

I've created another free Outlook mail account so I can at least access Microsoft forums but all that does is allow me to read all about others with the same problem and how it is taking a lot more than 24 hours to resolve, if it gets resolved at all.  

Completely migrated to Gmail (who can go days and days without e-mail?) and notified contacts but would still like the account unlocked so I can forward any stragglers to my Gmail for a month or two before completely dumping this mess. 

I'll update here if and when it gets resolved.

I was the temporary visitor above.  After 20 days (Monday 13 April 2020) I finally got my account unlocked by raising it with OneDrive support who escalated the issue.  I heard nothing from the Compliance Lock until Wednesday 15 April when, surprise, surprise, they couldn't find a problem with the account.  So, well done, OneDrive support.

I stayed with Outlook.com because Outlook works better with Exchange than IMAP/SMTP for Gmail, but I can understand JeffHarvey3's frustration - initially I started using a Gmail account that I have for other purposes.
