Why do Modified outlook meetings get canceled?

For some reason, when the owner of an event makes any sort of change (adding/deleting a member or adding a url), the event gets canceled for me instead of just being modified. The owner even sees that everyone else in the event is still in it but for some reason, it got canceled just for me. any idea why the event gets canceled only for me when a modification occurs to an event?

    Thanks for your information. It seems the two same names cause this issue. If you don't response that new invite in Scenario 2 and step 2, are there two same names appear?

    Meanwhile, we will do more research about this phenomenon, once getting any information, we will update you.

    Thanks for your information. Since we don't familiar with that third party conference service, can you please help us test the following two scenario and let us know the phenomenon?

    1. You make meeting invites and then update the meeting.
    2. Your colleague makes meeting invites and then update the meeting.

    Note: Please don't add the Zoom conference number in the meeting.

    To answer your first question, I never make meeting invites. I only get invited to meeting invites. Do you want to try something like that though?

    No, we do not use sky for business, we use Zoom but that is only for calls. The only thing we do is add that zoom conference number in our meetings, but we still use Microsoft calendar. Pretty sure we never create any meetings from Zoom, all meetings are created in outlook calendar and then we just add the phone number for zoom in it.

    Hello Mitchell,

    May I know if your organization don't use the Skype for Business service to organize the meeting? Because I suddenly realize the Zoom meeting is a third party conference provider.

    If your manager only uses the Skype for Business service to create an occurrence meetings, does this issue occur?

    2. Yes, we know the phenomenon about you are invited to someone owned meeting. We want to know the phenomenon about this scenario: when you create a meeting invitation, and then you update this event, after doing that what will happen?

    And based on my checking your free/busy status should correct, we need do more research/test about this specific issue. Thanks for your patience.
