Yes, I registered my phone in the Microsoft Authenticator app for android and that has seemed to fix it.

I've been having the same problem. I've been using the support feature in the app haven't been any help yet. I'm the admin of my org and none of the settings have changed for my login. Previously when used this app and added an account it would ask me if I wanted to stay logged in. I've deleted everything, cleared cache and app data, uninstalled everything, and I've never seen that option again when I add my account again. When ever I login I see a bunch of screens pop-up and they disappear and I have no idea what it's doing.

Clearing the cache/data, or reinstalling Outlook on the phone doesn't seem to help the problem. You can set your account back up, and then few hours later, the problem returns.
Moving the authenticator app is not a solution to me, I use it for non Microsoft accounts also as well as my personal email account which is also on my phone. The account I have the issue with, is not used by authenticator app, even though it shows up in the app in gray, meaning inactive.
Removing additional MS applications is also not a "fix" to me, I need apps like Teams, Office apps, etc, for my job.
As you said, this needs to be investigated more and a fix developed. The issue is gaining traction.
We have individual users opening tickets within the Outlook app for this issue, should be open a Premier Support Case? They don't support sending screen recordings/video in the Outlook support app. We have been sending them screenshots, I think they are aware of the issue, but if the problem lies with the Authenticator app, how do we get that team involved?
I removed the authenticator for now and started using sms. Annoying, but, the error messages are way more annoying.
Looks like it fixed for me. I also had to reinstall the apps to fully stop the messages.
Removing the authenticator app for me personally would be a big pain since I have a lot of third party services in mine, some of my users can probably get away with removing it.
Sounds like I need to switch over to Google's authenticator app for all my MFA needs then if Microsoft can't get their issues sorted out.
While i respect that you work on the windows side and you dont have enough resources, using the other support method has proven to be useless. Many of us have been trying to get support for this issue for the past 2 weeks and aren't making progress. There has to be a way to escalate this issue. With the amount of outages 365 has had in the past few months, this doesn't resonate well that we cant even get support for a product we pay a substantial amount for, and have to deal with red tape on trying to open a case.
So far i have opened 2 cases through my portal, one with outlook via the app, one with teams via the app, one with onedrive via the app, and 2 over the phone and nobody is willing to investigate even further
