I've been having the same problem. I've been using the support feature in the app haven't been any help yet. I'm the admin of my org and none of the settings have changed for my login. Previously when used this app and added an account it would ask me if I wanted to stay logged in. I've deleted everything, cleared cache and app data, uninstalled everything, and I've never seen that option again when I add my account again. When ever I login I see a bunch of screens pop-up and they disappear and I have no idea what it's doing.

Yes, I registered my phone in the Microsoft Authenticator app for android and that has seemed to fix it.

    My "fix" was to uninstall Outlook and install another email program called Aquamail.  That program has had *zero* problem staying connected to my o365 mailboxes and hasn't had to reprompt for credentials.

    I have no idea what is wrong with Outlook for Android, but sorely disappointed.

    Had the same issue and it was driving me crazy.  Remembered the old Android app fix for a lot of weird app issues. Seems to often be the fix for MS apps that play up.

    in Android settings, go to Apps.

    find the problematic app and open its information

    force stop the app

    clear cache and data

    open app again

    et voila.....all fixed.  

    Outlook and Onedrive have been running since early this afternoon without prompting for signin.

    I am having the same issue...

    All the time outlook send android notifications asking to sign in and when I click at it it just refreshes and start loading my e-mails again...

    I already changed to another phone to test and the issue persists. That started august 19
