Split from this thread.

I've been having the same problem. I've been using the support feature in the app haven't been any help yet. I'm the admin of my org and none of the settings have changed for my login. Previously when used this app and added an account it would ask me if I wanted to stay logged in. I've deleted everything, cleared cache and app data, uninstalled everything, and I've never seen that option again when I add my account again. When ever I login I see a bunch of screens pop-up and they disappear and I have no idea what it's doing.

Yes, I registered my phone in the Microsoft Authenticator app for android and that has seemed to fix it.

Something appears to have broken recently when utilizing multiple Microsoft applications on Android along with the Microsoft Authenticator app. The authenticator app is attempting to perform SSO functions between Microsoft Apps. When you switch to a third party mail application, it eliminates the ability for Authenticator to perform SSO and authentication brokering for mail, and the conflict no longer exists.

So far, the fix appears to be:

    A) Remove Microsoft Authenticator. Utilize OTP codes, SMS messages, Phone Calls, or Email for MFA if needed.

    OR

    B) Remove additional Microsoft applications. The issue occurs only when multiple Microsoft applications are used. Authenticator attempts to share the log on session between all Microsoft apps, and when Outlook, Teams, Office applications, etc on Android go to refresh their access token, they balk.

    OR

    C) Register your device with your organizations Azure AD. Do this from the Settings > Device Registration item in the Microsoft Authenticator app.

The issue never occurred previously, despite running multiple applications for months. A recent update to Microsoft applications on Android started the issue, though I'm not sure at this point if the issue is with Authenitcator itself or if the other Microsoft apps need updates to work better with Authenticator. Outlook has been updated several times since Authenticator, but other apps like Teams are still behind. Hopefully some app updates come out soon that make these work seamlessly again.

I have 3 different Microsoft accounts this happens with and one is private and the other 2 are business.  All are my own domains run through o365.

P.S.  I have no clue about the "Windows" vs. "Android" Outlook support group.  I went to the website to try and find help and this was where it routed me when I said I had an Outlook issue.  Maybe that support screen should be simplified or something.

Yeah, that's basically what happened to me.  The only other differences was I **WOULD** receive email and they would show up in the notification screen; however, if I went to the mail app, they would not appear in Inbox and it would just say that I needed to log in again, etc.

Very bizarre since it could obvious see my messages, right?
