Outlook Mobile for Android Sync Settings?

I just installed Outlook Mobile for work as my company moved to Office 365.

Here's my question, whenever I have previously used Outlook there was a setting option to sync email at specific intervals such as every 5 minutes, every hour, manual sync, etc. I can't find this setting any longer.

Where did it go? Thanks!

Welcome to Microsoft Community and thank you for posting your query.

I would like to inform you that the sync interval  cannot be set for the Outlook application on android phone. Outlook sync automatically whenever it is connected to internet, it can be also sync by swiping the screen downwards.

    I too would like this as an option to help conserve my battery and data.  My Windows phone had the ability to set this value and it seems like it would be a very easy thing to implement.

    The age of this thread alone does justify your opinion and there is no excuse for not adding such a simple feature to the application. I'm using BlueMail atm, which seems to be a good option too but the thing is that I would really like to use a Microsoft product as I find it more trustworthy than any 3rd party application. Maybe I should report this reply as an abuse to get some attention for this...

    I gave up on Microsoft ever fixing this issue. I finally bought an app that works much better called "Nine" email in the Android app store. Outlook just isn't worth the hassle.

    Hi,

    Any news regarding missing sync setting? Just like a couple of people already mentioned, dropping such feature from the app is in competition for the most stupid idea of the decade. This has to be fixed asap.
