A few days ago my Hotmail e-mail account suddenly switch to the "Outlook" mail & layout (where the little blue line fills in across the screen under the "Outlook" icon....) I hate it! Why did it change & HOW CAN I SWITCH BACK TO THE OLD HOTMAIL FORMAT I WAS COMFORTABLE WITH ALL THESE YEARS???

You must be a robot. I keep reading the same reply from you guys to several other people with questions.

If I get one more email from any of you starting with "Hello", like everyone seems to get, that will only prove my point.

At one point Microsoft used to care about what users thought but now your computer Systems must have a list of premade answers made up to automatically send out to the public based on the questions we have. That would make sense why so many people keep getting the same reply. Is this what Microsoft has turned into since Bill Gates retired out of it and turned the reins over to someone else? You all down there have forgotten the customer service that he used to have and what he built this company on. He must not be around anymore because he did not run your company to **** on people like you are.

let me clarify a few things before you sent me another robot message...

    1. There is nothing wrong with my operating system. It is your programs update that sucks. You need to change it   back because you are forcing alot of people to go with other email sources like Gmail and Yahoo.
    2. I do not need to use Internet Explorer instead of my Browser. My browser is fine.
    3. Please do not send me another generic email starting with "Hello" and ending with "Please let me know if I can assist you further". That is what the robots say. I do have a name and it is not "Hello".
    4. You are a company, like any other company, and your purpose is to please and keep your customers by giving them what they want. You have forgotten this. You don't build a business and make it grow by telling your customers what they want. You need to listen and give them what they want.
    5. Last but not least, please do not refer me to more forums for help or to another moderator because you guys are just blowing smoke at us and don't read what our problems are or you would do something about it.

The new hotmail is awful.  It is so clunky and less user friendly.  I will more than likely switch to gmail because of this nonsense - then an Apple for my next computer because Microsoft seems to like to make changes, then asks questions later, then not care what the answers in fact were.

I've spent over 20 hours on the phone with Microsoft on this..

It's a horrifically botched mandatory rollout. for me it started in Late June.

There is no way to go back, and literately every comment and feedback (including advanced troubleshooting) has fallen on Deaf ears.
