A few days ago my Hotmail e-mail account suddenly switch to the "Outlook" mail & layout (where the little blue line fills in across the screen under the "Outlook" icon....) I hate it! Why did it change & HOW CAN I SWITCH BACK TO THE OLD HOTMAIL FORMAT I WAS COMFORTABLE WITH ALL THESE YEARS???

I cant even see the type in my emails. and my contacts are all messed up. I NEVER agreed to switch over. My daughter is still able to use the old system. I NEED mine back to Hotmailor windows live so I can send out group emails. I have to send a death notice to a group and the groups aren't even in my contacts. WHY??????????? can someone please help me. the funeral is 1/6/17
Once an account is migrated there is no going back to hotmail
Shame on Microsoft for changing my account and others without giving us a choice. If it was a better service no one would be complaining...but it stinks. My contactskeep disappearing and it's a nightmare to find my groups to send text to my volunteer group.
Switch us back in fix this system.thousands are complaining for months and months with no help

sorry to hear about your plight....if there was a way to go back we would all be doing it...you might have to rebuild your group contacts or move to gmail or both....
Sachin, please, suggest to Microsoft to have an option of returning the Mail to old Office Outlook mode. I'm using my old Windows 7 PC where I still have an old version (for whatever reason - and luckily - it didn't update to new outlook) of Mail and I can not emphasize enough how much more clean and user friendly that version is. The new Outlook drives me crazy and I'm not any senior person who doesn't like new upgrades - I am an mid-aged professional who needs quick access and clear transparency ...
