A few days ago my Hotmail e-mail account suddenly switch to the "Outlook" mail & layout (where the little blue line fills in across the screen under the "Outlook" icon....) I hate it! Why did it change & HOW CAN I SWITCH BACK TO THE OLD HOTMAIL FORMAT I WAS COMFORTABLE WITH ALL THESE YEARS???

Sorry if you call this an upgrade I'd hate to see a down grade.

I use webmail at work and since this "Upgrade" IE freezes if I try to close or navigate away. Downloads take 60 seconds before it will ask me to save. Used to take a second or two.

As far as my personal hotmail account. The layout where I could have 1 page show at a time was more user-friendly than to show all emails at once as currently happens.

Is there anyway to bring back the option of only a certain number of emails per page?

After going through the procedure of booting down and the other suggestions, the program works fine.  My apologies to Microsoft.  It's a little different.  In this changing world it is easy to jump to assumptions.  It is better to presume that people want things to be good and not the reverse.  I apologize for any false assumptions on my part.

PS   I would rather go back to Dos than have a brand new Apple!

Try cleaning the engine of your car and try re-starting?  You are kidding, right?  Are people truly that unknowing of the mechanical workings of a car?  I've been working on cars my whole life and I have never heard of cleaning an engine to fix it.

Well I'm no automobie mechanic like you but you can learn the wonders of what cleaning can do to some machine that is not working properly. Take example a Computer.
