A few days ago my Hotmail e-mail account suddenly switch to the "Outlook" mail & layout (where the little blue line fills in across the screen under the "Outlook" icon....) I hate it! Why did it change & HOW CAN I SWITCH BACK TO THE OLD HOTMAIL FORMAT I WAS COMFORTABLE WITH ALL THESE YEARS???

Yeah, I want the old version back. The new version super sucks. It's split my Inbox into two folders. Stupid idea. Now I have to scroll through two folders of emails and because of this change. How is that efficient or convenient for users?
To turn of Focused Inbox click on the Filter menu in the upper right of you mail list and uncheck Show Focused Inbox.

I do! My big gripe is after 20 years I had alot of safe senders and domains set up, and now all of the safe domains don't work. They still go into junk mail. I am reading about alot of people that want the old version back so they are fixing what is not broken and Microsoft is forgetting that we are the users of their product so they should give us what we want. Alot of people want this.
Another site that thought they were sooooo big they could do anything was Ancestry.com. I've paid for Anc since mid-1990's. Now they've got a website that most people HATE. People are dropping out of it like crazy. When will these sites understand that people like what they like and at the very least give us an opportunity to Op-Out!
I agree with you. I am tired of Windows 10 being crammed down my throat. I was already happy with Windows XP but Windows 7 was forced on me. I have used Hotmail for 20 years and now it completely screw up. I just used it one night before I went to bed and woke up to the new look and all was screwed up.
This is what Circuit City did, if you remember them. They didn't give the public a choice and tried to tell us what we wanted and tried to cram Verizon Wireless down out throat instead of giving us the choice. Where are they now?
