I have outlook for work on my Android. I do not wish to be on it at all times the constant notifications are an irritation. I found a post from 2013 saying that logging out on an android was not an option. Surely by now 3 years later this has been resolved.  I currently can not find the option to log out.

So you're telling me that the email that is my last line of defense for security reasons, that all password resets and everything else go to, was accessible from my phone if someone just installed this stupid app? This has got to be one of the dumbest security non-feature I've ever seen, you took 2 factor authentication and frickin' broke it in half.

What the hell is wrong with you idiots? You can't log out of an account? Have you said this out loud to yourself so you can understand how stupid it sounds? Go ahead a take a second... Perfect. Rethink your life.

    Hi,

With regard to your concern, we realize that you want to change some settings of Outlook on your device. You can have more fine-tuned control over your push notifications settings for each of your mail accounts within our app, including whether or not you want to receive Mail Notifications for all of your emails.

    1. Open your Outlook, tap “Settings” in the bottom right corner.
    2. In Notifications under "Mail" or "Calendar", you can turn on/off and adjust push notifications for your Mail (All, Focused, or None), Calendar, and choose sounds for each.

Please note that if you turn off push notifications, Background App Refresh will also be disabled, which means that our app will not be able to fetch your emails in the background.

We're just here if you have further questions.

    Regards.

Yes M S sucs we all already knew that along time ago but we don't want to kill the name we have for outlook/hotmail so we deal with the **** they put us in. Here is a solution that may help. So, you can't sign out of outlook/hotmail on your phone even though millions of consumers have requested to have this feature fixed? Well here is what you can do: create a google Gmail (they are better anyway) and place their app on the phone then go to your outlook/hotmail and forward your emails to your new Gmail and delete the MS outlook app off your phone. Now if you want you can sign in/out of Gmail anytime and if you see an email in outlook/hotmail that you want to respond by using your MS account just wait until you get to a computer to actually do that. I know the feeling of wanting to sign out of outlook/hotmail because there are times that another person may have my phone in their hands and don't want them hitting the email notification and seeing personal stuff so at least this way I can sign out and if I want I can sign in on Gmail and will need to enter my password so now I am protected from other peeps eyes. Just a thought!~
