The New Outlook is TERRIBLE! !!

The responses from those who monitor Outlook is corporate cute. And expected.

But the new Outlook is so Very Terrible, that those of US who loved and have been a part of Hotmail since it's inception , might be lead to believe that the R&D dept. or hired developer Never used it in their lifetime? ??

This new Outlook is a lazy, pathetic designers attempt to.......do nothing!!

What did you make better??

NOTHING!

What did you screw up??

  • The easy one glance ability to either read " said email " or delete in up to  a 10 email selection at once.
  • The ability to easily place emails into folders.

Why explain it,..WE all know the new Outlook is a " Microsoft is done with your stupid account....." phase out.

Which in actuality is a shame from a business perspective.

Hotmail, may not be Facebook popular? 

But, there ARE many longterm users!!!!!!

Microsoft,  you are forcing Your Clientele to depart and sever ties with you.

I left the iPhone world long ago for Samsung / Android.

Why???

  • Freedom, and elimination of loved apps being manipulated.

Microsoft is creating the Same Problem.

IF, the business is really about money????

And Microsoft " thinks " it needs to change??

Why not do the smart thing.........

Ask your client base what WE like, and what WE think you do well. Then work from there.

But this new Outlook??? Sorry but, IT SUCKS!

    I agree. I am tolerating it until I decide I simply have to replace it with a gmail.  Barely any feedback registers or is fixed, it's incredibly slowwww, the Other inbox stuff keeps showing in main (primary/focussed), which should'nt , flags take up too much space, emails are spaced out, moving stuff into folders is slower, STILL after all these yrs no multi addy log in which means logging in/out (pain In the Backside bigtime< and  1 of the things gmail IS far superior at, with being far speedier too. It's only the aggro of telling everyone that is clinging me to hotmail (that was the best version did'nt even need changing to Outlook which is awful, the worst of which is this version. Ironic is'nt it..keep IMPROVING IT..makes it even worse . lol

    How do these people keep their jobs.  Job description - Wanted programmer to make emailing as hard, frustrating, useless, incompetent as can be.  Oh and if you can also make it as user unfriendly as is possible, also a guarantee of work.  What you can do all those things and more ?

    When can you start.  Right away - brilliant.  Gimme a break here.  Hire some people who actually know what they are doing.

    Chiming in to agree. User of 12+ years, probably going to make my gmail account my main email soon. Just stumbled upon this thread when searching to see if anyone else hates the new look, skype integration, etc. Just plain bad.

    Absolutely agree. This **** new Outlook is even hard on the eyes. Been a "Hotmail" user for a long time but I'm going to have to find a new email because this is **** ridiculous! So pissed!

    Hey, the look and the functions of all the fluff are one thing I can't even properly type a damn email half the time because of the constant problems with it being web mail not hardware based. I just spent about 20 minutes just trying to forward one email and write a one sentence response to the same email. This web based garbage is not a step forward. If I need to backup my stupid emails let me do it don't slow down the whole program so I can't even type a letter properly without getting completely irate.

    DUMP THE WEB-BASED SERVER GARBAGE AND LET ME TYPE A DAMN LETTER THEN SEND IT. WE ONLY NEED CONNECTIVITY FOR THE ACTUAL SENDING OF THE EMAIL NOT TYPING EVERY STUPID CHARACTER. -HARDWARE BASED NOW PLEASE-
