Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Same problem. I find the easiest fix is to resize the preview pane, which redraws the scroll bar correctly. Just moving it a few pixels does it.

For the angry people: If you installed O365 on the Monthy Channel, you will see things like this more frecuently.
That's why exists the 'Semi annual channel' on Office 365, at least on Business editions.
All my clients have that option: very few or no problems at all.
Sooner or later, you will receive all the new features, but far more tested.
Windows 10 Pro has the same upgrade path.
These are the cons for the SaaS model: you will see more new features, but more bugs. Stay at a more conservative upgrade path and you will be better.
that works well as a band-aid, hopefully MS-365 will provide a permanent fix soon!
Same issue. Just started appearing. Yes dragging pane back and forth works but it's annoying and we need a a 'fix' not a 'work around'.
The fact that we are not getting any Microsoft responses here is telling me they dont have a solution.
Frustrated members of my team are now using the web application instead... alot like were using gmail already.
This does remind me of an old msoft industry joke.
How many Microsoft techs does it take to change a light bulb...
None the marketing exec will just call darkness the industry standard.
Especially apt in this instance ;)
