Outlook Calendar Notifications all Show in (UTC+00:00) Monrovia, Reykjavik Time Zone

My wife shared her outlook.com calendar with me.  We both have our time zones set to Eastern Time on outlook.com.  However, whenever I get a notification that she added something to her calendar it shows in (UTC+00:00) Monrovia, Reykjavik Time Zone just in the notification.

For instance it says...

When: Wednesday, March 29, 2017 12:30 AM-1:00 AM. (UTC+00:00) Monrovia, Reykjavik

... when she makes an appointment at 8:30pm Eastern Time on 3/28.  Both the time shows correctly on both of our calendars.  Only the notification is wrong.  How do I fix that?

    Hi Darian,

Not sure I understand. What doe you mean with network?

The WAN, LAN, or something else?

Regarding device timezone (i'm broadening the term since the issue also involves mobile devices), I dont see how it can be relevant, the mails are being sent from MS servers when a user adds, edits or removes calendar events, there is no relation to device settings. The events are correctly creating at the correct time, its only the notification thats in the wrong time zone.

This reply has no value and simply serves as a placeholder for MS attempting to demonstrate responsiveness.

Has this issue been presented to the Outlook engineering team and what is their response?

    Hi Darian,

Yes, I have checked the time zone settings on both my wife's and my online Microsoft accounts, each of the computers we use, and each of the mobile devices we use. All of these are set to the correct time zone (PST).

As mentioned by me previously and by other respondents to this thread, the calendar items are created correctly on the calendar and display with the correct date (on all devices: computer [Outlook], phone, online).

The issue is the Microsoft Outlook Calendar notification from "******@outlook.com is not correct. Each of these email notifications display the appointment time in (UTC+00:00) Monrovia, Reykjavik, which is very confusing.

Any suggestions you can provide to help resolve this issue would be much appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Randy

    Hi Randy,

We appreciate that you have performed and checked all the possible solutions to resolve the issue. We recommend downloading the Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool (OffCAT) 2.2 as it provides a quick and easy way to analyze Microsoft Office programs for known configurations that cause problems.

Do let us know if you need any further support.

    Regards.
