Outlook Calendar Notifications all Show in (UTC+00:00) Monrovia, Reykjavik Time Zone

My wife shared her outlook.com calendar with me.  We both have our time zones set to Eastern Time on outlook.com.  However, whenever I get a notification that she added something to her calendar it shows in (UTC+00:00) Monrovia, Reykjavik Time Zone just in the notification.

For instance it says...

When: Wednesday, March 29, 2017 12:30 AM-1:00 AM. (UTC+00:00) Monrovia, Reykjavik

... when she makes an appointment at 8:30pm Eastern Time on 3/28.  Both the time shows correctly on both of our calendars.  Only the notification is wrong.  How do I fix that?

    Hi Jason,

    We'll need to gather a bit more information to better identify what's causing this. Kindly answer the following:

    • Do you have the same geographical location as your wife's current location?
    • Does this also happen on your wife's end?
    • Could you send us a screenshot of your and your wife's regional settings?

    My wife and I are also having the same problem.  Our time zones are both set to London but whenever one of us creates an event in our shared calendar the email notification shows the time zone as Monrovia, Reykjavik which is 1 hour different.

    Thanks for providing us details, but we'll need to get more information. If possible, kindly refer to the questions in my first reply (excluding the 2nd one) for us to isolate. Also, could you confirm if you're sending business emails or personal emails?

    I have this exact same problem. My wife shares her calendar with me  (she has @outlook.com and I have @live.com accounts), and the notifications I receive display incorrect time zone. They display the correct time in our desktop versions of Outlook and on our phones.

    I have checked the time zone settings in both of our Microsoft accounts (Outlook.com online), and they are correct (PST).

    See screen shot below. Any suggestions to fix this?
