Error when trying to log in to outlook using Firefox

I am getting this error while trying to open my old Hotmail account. Started while actually in my account.

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to outlook.live.com. Invalid OCSP signing certificate in OCSP response. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_INVALID_SIGNING_CERT

    The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

    Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Any idea for a fix?

    I got the same problem. In fact a new feature of firefox which verify (basically but it's more complicated than that) if the site (in fact the server you want to connect) is still secure. In this case problem come from MS. The most secure solution is to disable the OCSP feature as it has already said before just to check your mail or whatever and turn it on just after you've done.

    Hello,

    despite that error message is supposed to be an minder serious issue, verify please weather problem persists using another browser.

    Here it works using Opera without any problems. That is why I think Firefox got an issue.

    However, one can alternatively type in address filed following URL to get access to outlook account:

    https://outlook.live.com/owa/

    That URL works on Firefox release 52.1.2 without errors.

    Thanks! This is a great temporary fix. It's pathetic that we have to do this though. It's not enough that Microsoft completely ruined their e-mail with this new version, but they won't even keep their compatibility up... I sometimes wonder if they're not trying to force us towards Edge. Maybe I'm paranoid because they're been screwing up over and over again. Oh well.

    you're not paranoid, around a year ago they did the same thing with Windows 7, all of a sudden my windows 7pro machine didn't want to update any more, discovered lots of people had that problem at the same time, after 3 months I finally found a tip from another user to circumnavigate the issue. It was obvious they wanted everybody to switch to 10 in a rather nasty way...

    But then again it is odd that you can log in via other browsers so that kind of makes firefox a prime suspect rather than microsoft.
