Error when trying to log in to outlook using Firefox

I am getting this error while trying to open my old Hotmail account. Started while actually in my account.

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to outlook.live.com. Invalid OCSP signing certificate in OCSP response. Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_INVALID_SIGNING_CERT

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.

Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Any idea for a fix?

I had this problem too with Firefox so switched to iexplorer and my email account worked fine.

This will probably have been mentioned before, I didn't read all the replies.

The problem is that the Microsoft OCSP server (http://ocsp.msocsp.com) which providers the extra security information for certificates is giving the following error:

Error querying OCSP responder

139681279068024:error:27076072:OCSP routines:PARSE_HTTP_LINE1:server response error:ocsp_ht.c:314:Code=403,Reason=Forbidden

Thus why Firefox is complaining.

The temporary fix is to make Firefox less secure, the proper resolution is for Microsoft to unbreak their OCSP server.
