Hi mindaugas laucius,

I'm sorry to inform you we don't have the ability to revert back to the classic version of Hotmail. All hotmail accounts have already been updated to use the new and Improved Hotmail Webmail.

Thanks!

sorry to say since I went to OUTLOOK I have problems constantly signing in to get my e-mail. I may be forced to switch to another site!!

    Hello,

I'm sorry that you do not like the new features we recently implement to Hotmail. To switch back to Hotmail interface, perform the following steps with Outlook.com displayed in your browser:

    1. Click on the cog icon in the upper right corner of the page next to your name.
    2. Select the last item in the menu, Switch back to Hotmail.

If you are unable to switch back to Hotmail interface using the option, you may use this URL: http://mail.live.com/default.aspx?moptout=true

If you didn’t see this option ‘Switch back to Hotmail’ and the URL is not working, switching back to Hotmail isn’t available for your account.

As what Dan T said, you may be seeing Outlook.com because your account was automatically upgraded from Hotmail. Hotmail customers who were upgraded automatically to Outlook.com were notified in advance via email.

When we launched Outlook.com preview, we shared plans to eventually upgrade all Hotmail customers to Outlook.com. To help ensure a smooth transition, the upgrade will be gradual. Your upgrade is part of the process.

For more information about this update, please refer to the links below:

When I log in, I am seeing Outlook.com instead of Hotmail

    Thank you!

Too bad you can't go back to Hotmail classic.  The outlook format is in every way inferior.  You don't even have aforward or go back button.  Hello Gmail!!--Microsoft is amzing giveing away a position where they had a monstrous head start1

    Hi VictoriaBrowne,

We understand your frustrations and we apologize for the inconvenience this issue might have caused you.

Outlook.com is a new service that runs alongside Hotmail.com accounts.  Although we are encouraging our Hotmail users to

upgrade, you don’t have to do so. You can read more about new features of Outlook.com here: Introducing Outlook.com

With regards to the Control Panel mentioned by bushbrat, if you are using Windows 7 computer, you can locate it by simply Opening the Start Menu, on the right side is the Control Panel along with Documents, Pictures, etc.

    Thank you.
