Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
I had this problem, at the time I had a alias for my email, I had access to my account settings but not my email, so I delete the alias and the problem it's solve.

Original title: Outlook LIVE (outlook.com) "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later".
I have a custom domain running Outlook LIVE through outlook.com. I've had an old passport account which has been with me for a long time but didn't used to have email associated with it. I recently updated it to have email enabled, but I'm not able to login to outlook live with that account.
How can I get around the "Something went wrong and we can't sign you in right now. Please try again later" error, or determine what the problem is? I waited about a month but I'm still having the same problem. I would really like to get email onto this account since it's the account I have all of my other things (xbox, phone, win8) pointed to.
Thanks

Having a similiar issue.
I have been using Outlook.com with a custom domain for years. Recently when using Firefox or Chrome I have started receiving the "Something went wrong and we couldn't complete your request".
Edge from Windows 10 works fine.
It's not a cookie/cache issue as this happens on multiple PC's with Firefox and Chrome.
It also affects other microsoft services like Groove (music.microsoft.com) so it's got to be account related somehow.
Anyone know the fix?
Hello,
I'm still getting the same error.
I don't have access to my inbox.
if you are using windows10 then use internet explorer and not edge to access your inbox and it will work fine.
I think the issue is with Edge browser and not the exchange server because whilst I get the error when trying to use edge I can access my mailbox without any problems if I use internet explorer on the same Windows10 machine.
Try using other browser or clearing the cache files and cookies
