How can I edit groups in Outlook.com? I find only the option to change the name or delete the group

Why not the usefull shortcuts contacts etc in the left colomn

Let me help you with your issues in managing your group contacts.

There are some minor changes happened in People page. To manage your contacts in a group, please refer to this thread and look for JMichael_M's post for instructions.

If you wish to view the list of people that is currently added in the group, please follow these steps:

1. Sign into http://people.live.com

  1. Click All v under People v.
  2. Click the name of the group you wish to view.

Hello,

Outlook.com lets you edit, add, delete and rename groups. This functionality is called "Manage Groups" and can be accessed from the "Manage" drop down menu in the header when on the People page.

Outlook.com also lets you add and remove people from a group.

  1. Visit the People page
  2. Select the contacts that you want to add to a group by clicking on the checkbox next to their name in the contact list
  3. The header shows an item called "Groups"
  4. Select the group you want to add this person to and click apply.

From this menu, you can also create a new group and manage groups.

    Hi there,

    I have been following this string with interest however there is one element that I still find unanswered. How do I see which contacts are in which of my groups in one view/glance?

    I used to be able to see all members of a selected group before this outlook stuff 'took over'. Now I don't seem to find an easy understandable way of viewing my groups and it's members. Only options to rename/add/delete a group.

    any help appreciated as this is now a very frustrating interface.

    All I want to do is, view a group and see who's in it. Then easily add or remove members as and when required. so much more difficult to do now.
