Now I can't edit contact and add new contact to outlook.com account on my Android phone.

I have 2 problems:

  1. The option to edit contacts on my Android phone is no longer listed as an option. I can only view the contacts.
  2. When I want to add new contact on my Android phone, I can only add to my Gmail account.

Any work around for these problem? Apart from switching to WP/Apple.

    It´s work. But I needed to do the following:

    1. Remove all accounts from Outlook app;
    2. Open Contats App, click on 3 dots (sandwich menu), manage accounts, enter in each account and disable contats Sync;
    3. Add a new Account, Exchante Type, click in Manual Setup, insert the Server Address eas.outlook.com and email/password;
    4. Sync account;
    5. Open Contacts App again and confirm that the only account syncing contacts is Exchange Account.

    All working now!!

    I finally found a solution!  I got rid of my Microsoft 365 subscription and use Google exclusively now.  All of my contacts sync across all devices, and Google Sheets, Docs, etc work great.  Problem solved!  No more frustration.

    Hi User_333,

    We appreciate the feedback and for listing your observations on what features are supported with accessing an Outlook.com account on an Android device. I'll be forwarding your query about the two-way synch between the device and the Outlook.com's "People" module to our Support Specialists. We'll post back as soon as we receive a response.

    Thank you!
