I want to change the default page after signing out from Outlook.com

In August 2013 I asked a question on this community about how to change the default page after signing out of Outlook.com.  Since opening my email address in July, every time when I sign out it goes to MSN.co.uk - a page I do not want.  I want this go to MSN.co.nz, for my country.  I have looked for settings to change this - but nothing is available on the outlook.com settings. And yes - before anyone asks me - my details all CLEARLY state New Zealand as my country on my profile. I have checked this multiple upon multiple times.

I have asked for solutions but no luck so far. In replies from the Microsoft Community, various suggestions have been provided and webpages to contact - which I have done.  But those websites either tell me to check my country details (doh!...as if I am that stupid), don't reply or send me to other webpage - which simply repeats the previous responses.

We can land space vehicles on Mars, do complex brain surgery, find the Higgs Boson, see distant stars and planets...yet no one can provide a simple solution to this??  I may not be a computer genius, but seriously, come on...solving this can't really be this hard.

Can anyone shed some specific and direct solutions to this?

    Hi Evan 405,  The thing that gets my goat about it is that I have 2 computers running from the same modem, both run windows 7 and explorer 11.   My main machine which is hard wired desk top machine works great no problems what so ever, the other one is a wireless lap top which I have the problems with.   Thinking about it though I did do a complete clean of the hard drive and fresh load up of windows 7 on the desktop machine after the switchover from Hotmail to outlook.   I might give the lap top the same treatment.   Will let you know if this helps, a bit drastic I know but what the heck.

    Hi Joey_D,

    I'm sure that you are able to follow all the posts here, not only from myself but many other Outlook users,

    I find it hard to believe that the forum moderators and the Microsoft support team cannot converse with each other and find a solution to this worldwide issue.

    It is becoming very frustrating and would hope that a solution can soon be found, there have been many conflicting reports from vaious moderstors.

    As I have mention many times this has only happened to me in mid July, for other users it seemed to happen earlier, Please fix this issue.... Regards

    We are tracking this behavior down. If you're experiencing this, please let us know and have the following information ready:

    1. Your Outlook.com email account.
    2. The country and city where you currently at.
    3. What MSN homepage was it supposed to be after logging out?
    4. What MSN homepage are you getting to after logging out?
    5. Please go to whatismyip.com then post back your IP Address.

    DO NOT provide the information just yet. Just let us know by posting on here and we'll open up a private message area for you where you can submit the above information without exposing them on this thread.

    The above information will be useful in finding the common denominator among affected accounts and to finally identify what causes the issue so we can administer a fix.
