I want to change the default page after signing out from Outlook.com

In August 2013 I asked a question on this community about how to change the default page after signing out of Outlook.com.  Since opening my email address in July, every time when I sign out it goes to MSN.co.uk - a page I do not want.  I want this go to MSN.co.nz, for my country.  I have looked for settings to change this - but nothing is available on the outlook.com settings. And yes - before anyone asks me - my details all CLEARLY state New Zealand as my country on my profile. I have checked this multiple upon multiple times.

I have asked for solutions but no luck so far. In replies from the Microsoft Community, various suggestions have been provided and webpages to contact - which I have done.  But those websites either tell me to check my country details (doh!...as if I am that stupid), don't reply or send me to other webpage - which simply repeats the previous responses.

We can land space vehicles on Mars, do complex brain surgery, find the Higgs Boson, see distant stars and planets...yet no one can provide a simple solution to this??  I may not be a computer genius, but seriously, come on...solving this can't really be this hard.

Can anyone shed some specific and direct solutions to this?

    With all due respect Genreb_M, you are clearly not fully aware of the issue - and that makes it all the more frustrating when communicating with Microsoft (or their agents).  It would be deeply appreciated if Forum Moderators are actually aware of the issue before they comment with trivial, glib and incorrect responses.  Even better - maybe offer solutions..but I'm not holding my breath though...

    You state that "The default country for the MSN homepage is set up based from the country you choose when you register your Microsoft account." This is clearly, totally and absolutely incorrect.

    Evidence One:  I have two Outlook accounts.  The first one was set up in New Zealand in 2001 when operating under Hotmail.  This worked perfectly fine, with the default page on sign out going to the MSN NZ homepage. All was good. Then in mid-June 2014 it all changed and defaulted to MSN.com.  It is clearly obvious that Microsoft made a deliberate programming change for this to happen - as I didn't.

    Evidence Two: The other account was set up last year. It has New Zealand listed on my country profile - always has.  However, it initially defaulted to MSN UK homepage for some reason. I tried to get this corrected through this forum - but nothing happened. Then, I noted in early 2014 it was defaulting to MSN NZ on sign out.  Woo ho, I thought - finally it had been corrected.  But alas, I was wrong - from mid June 2014 (as with Evidence 1), the default sign out page changed to MSN.com. Sigh...

    For the above examples, I have not changed any settings at all - AT ALL.  Hence, the change must have come from the settings changed by Outlook.com. Clearly, the change in settings takes no account of the country listed in the profile.

    I am not into providing my email address. This is clearly a 'global' issue in the settings within Outlook.com that are at fault. Sort this out first. Even myself as an non-IT person can work out a simple solution to this. Other email providers have this all sorted - why not Microsoft?

    I only have one Microsft account and it has always been set to NZ for my account details.  I was living in Asia for 7 years and in all that time it went to MSN.co.NZ when signing out of outlook.  I came home to NZ in January and all was well and then it suddenly changed to MSN.com at the beginning of June.  I don't believe it has anything to do with the country you set the account to at all.  Please look deeper to find out what the issue is.  I want to read NZ news not American news.

    I have the same issue too. I'm being redirected to MSN.com instead of MSN.ca. I've even had my "city" changed from Toronto to "Burlington, CAN" and am getting Burlington specific ads and weather. What are you guys doing??? I want this issue corrected. I'm getting so ticked off I'm considering getting ride of MSN all together. Are  you going to be able to fix this for me or not?

    Oh good, it's not just me that it's happening to. I'm being directed to msn.com when I sign out of outlook too. I'm in Australia, I signed up in Australia in 1998, haven't moved country, haven't changed my email, but all of a sudden it's going to msn.com, instead of ninemsn.com.au  I would like this fixed too!

    I am sorry for the confusion.

    Please be informed that it is by default that when you sign out from your Outllok.com, you are being redirected to msn page. However, the location of it (ex. msn Australia, msn NZ) is randomly shown. It can be different everyday or it can be the same as well.
