I want to change the default page after signing out from Outlook.com

In August 2013 I asked a question on this community about how to change the default page after signing out of Outlook.com. Since opening my email address in July, every time when I sign out it goes to MSN.co.uk - a page I do not want. I want this go to MSN.co.nz, for my country. I have looked for settings to change this - but nothing is available on the outlook.com settings. And yes - before anyone asks me - my details all CLEARLY state New Zealand as my country on my profile. I have checked this multiple upon multiple times.

I have asked for solutions but no luck so far. In replies from the Microsoft Community, various suggestions have been provided and webpages to contact - which I have done. But those websites either tell me to check my country details (doh!...as if I am that stupid), don't reply or send me to other webpage - which simply repeats the previous responses.

We can land space vehicles on Mars, do complex brain surgery, find the Higgs Boson, see distant stars and planets...yet no one can provide a simple solution to this?? I may not be a computer genius, but seriously, come on...solving this can't really be this hard.

Can anyone shed some specific and direct solutions to this?

Oh...maybe I spoke to quick. When I signing out from my email at work today, I was directed to the NZ homepage - that was different than what happened previously. Maybe it was a glitch! However, I have just tried at home, and it goes to the local country page MSN (in this case Indonesia). Not sure what is happening here. Just weird. Maybe the change is just temporary - and could be temperamental!

Somehow the setup when exiting Outlook remains incorrect. I still can't understand why the redirected page is simply not defaulted - permanently - to the country listed on the profile. Surely its not that hard. I can sign out of Yahoo! - from ANY computer
- and still get directed to the Yahoo! NZ homepage so not sure why Microsoft is different.

Hi Evan,

Yes, I have just checked my accounts today and both go back to my preferred New Zealand homepage. This has only changed in the last two days for me. I sincerely hope that this will be permanent from now.

That would be "his" one account. But hey, as of today, September 9th, every single account on our computer now goes to the original MSN site that we've been on for years. Don't know how or why, let's just hope it stays that way.

Hi Geoff,

Not sure if your following the posts still? But I have two accounts and I logged into the forum using both of these. Just recently I checked and I'm now being redirected to my home town, don't know whats happenned but it seems to working as normal for me.

I did notice a post by LOUNGERATT22 saying that her one account was working but other accounts were not.

All very interesting but for me so far all is good.

I forgot to mention that I logged into the forum on both my email accounts, maybe thats why they are now both going to my hometown. Something definetly changed?

I didn't make any changes, I'm interested to see if any other users have found their home?
