In August 2013 I asked a question on this community about how to change the default page after signing out of Outlook.com. Since opening my email address in July, every time when I sign out it goes to MSN.co.uk - a page I do not want. I want this go to MSN.co.nz, for my country. I have looked for settings to change this - but nothing is available on the outlook.com settings. And yes - before anyone asks me - my details all CLEARLY state New Zealand as my country on my profile. I have checked this multiple upon multiple times.
I have asked for solutions but no luck so far. In replies from the Microsoft Community, various suggestions have been provided and webpages to contact - which I have done. But those websites either tell me to check my country details (doh!...as if I am that stupid), don't reply or send me to other webpage - which simply repeats the previous responses.
We can land space vehicles on Mars, do complex brain surgery, find the Higgs Boson, see distant stars and planets...yet no one can provide a simple solution to this?? I may not be a computer genius, but seriously, come on...solving this can't really be this hard.
Can anyone shed some specific and direct solutions to this?

I forgot to mention that I logged into the forum on both my email accounts, maybe thats why they are now both going to my hometown. Something definetly changed?
I didn't make any changes, I'm interested to see if any other users have found their home?

On checking my email accounts just now...... I have found that when I sign out I'm now being redirected to my home town!!! That does mean the issue is now fixed? If so hooray and well done,

I agree...why can Yahoo! get this right but Mickey Soft can't? Either their experts are not experts or they just don't care. Actually I have money on it that they are both.
I started this post...and as I have said before...in no way am I giving out private details like IP addresses....seriously.
This issue didn't start because of my IP address - it was the same when it was all okay and it is the same when it all got stuffed up. So it can't be anything to do with the IP address. And also, people from all over the world are commenting on this issue...so very unlikely it is IP address-related. (Sometimes I think the Mickey Soft people think we are dumb).
This all seemed to go haywire when a large Windows update was performed in June (before then it was okay). I am sure that is the common denominator. This is a Microsoft issue and they can fix it. Yahoo! gets it right - why can't Mickey Soft?
Also please note, for #2, 3, and 4 I have already posted on this forum. It just goes to show that Mickey Soft people are not reading what is posted.
