How do i prevent the outlook logout from redirecting to msn?

I thought that the garbage was only in the mexican version of MSN page, we should not be forced to enter that page.

What a perfect statement to describe Microsoft's answer to this problem. They NEVER give you a straight answer.

I was given the option to go to the local msn or global msn and I always clicked on local. Now I only get redirected back to the global site.

we all know that we are being redirected to MSM by design what we would like you to help us with is to let us know how we can prevent this.  I have no interest in cleb gossip and would like to be brough back to the outlook log in page again.

I changed from gmail because I was sick of them reading my email to send me spam advertising will I have to leave outlook to avoid more spam?

As we have said before you will be redirected to MSN.com after you sign out of Outlook.com. There are no currently available feature to disable this. We strongly suggest that you send your suggestions about this to our feedback forum:

Also, to prevent getting spam email, set your Junk-filtering level to exclusive. This will block all incoming messages and you will receive emails only from trusted senders.

Please follow these steps to setup your junk e-mail filter in Outlook:

1. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
2. In the upper-right corner of the page, click the gear icon, and then click Options.
3. Under Preventing junk email, click Filters and reporting.
4. Under Filters and reporting, select the options that you want, and then click Save.

If you choose Exclusive for your junk e-mail filter, only messages from e-mail addresses on your Contacts or Allowed senders lists appear in your Inbox. Messages from senders not on those lists are automatically sent to the Junk e-mail folder.

You should occasionally check your junk e-mail folder to make sure that good messages are not sent there by mistake.

How to block/unblock a sender:

1. Sign in to https://outlook.com
2. Click the gear icon located at the upper-right side of the page.
3. Select Options settings.
4. Under Preventing junk email, click Safe and blocked senders.
5. Click Blocked senders. 
6. Enter the email address or domain on the box labeled Blocked email address or domain: and click Add to list >> or <<Remove from list

Well, I just sent my feedback about Outlook.com, and hopefully lots of others are doing the same. :-)

(Note to disgruntled users: not much point blasting the forum moderators about this issue, as their hands are tied. If you work for a Ford dealership, and you tell your customer "Go buy a Toyota, they're better", how long do you think you will be on Henry's payroll? :-) )
