How do i prevent the outlook logout from redirecting to msn?

At some point signing out of Outlook started redirecting to MSN. This is really frustrating - especially when accidently clicking anywhere on the screen that is NOT the login field causes the login form to disappear.

How do I disable this redirect? I would like to see the outlook login page when I sign out - not the MSN news page.

    Oh. You're one of those.

I suppose Microsoft doesn't consider people making such dangerous conclusions when making the decision to forcibly show MSN.

I don't want to ever see another online news site and hate MSN, FOXNEWS etc.  how do I keep outlook from redirecting me to MSN.com.  NO matter what good news I get from the email I always leave the session mad as hell.

I solved it by ceasing to use Microsoft products and services, including starting to use another email service instead (and using email forwarding to send / receive old emails from the old address).

People are done with supporting a company so tone-deaf to it's users.

download or use your hostfile to block the msn website, bookmark outlook live sign in page, that way you will get redirected to a 404, then click bookmark to get back to the sign in page. I have looked around (not at 100%) and thats pretty much what i feel im going to end up doing.
