How do i prevent the outlook logout from redirecting to msn?

At some point signing out of Outlook started redirecting to MSN. This is really frustrating - especially when accidently clicking anywhere on the screen that is NOT the login field causes the login form to disappear.

How do I disable this redirect? I would like to see the outlook login page when I sign out - not the MSN news page.

It means that we don't have a definite or exact website after you log out of your account. Please observe on the coming days, you will see the Outlook.com sign in page again.

If you have more questions, always feel free to popst back.

    Thank you.

I am also tired of being redirected to the MSN page, which contains a bunch of smut, celebrity gossip, and news stories that have no interest to me. How much longer will we have to wait for said changes to happen, and simply be directed to the Outlook.com page once signing out?

    Hi,

Thank you for getting back to us. We are asking for your default page because it may be contributing to the issue. Please be informed that the default log off page of Outlook.com is the msn page.

Should there be any other question or concern, kindly post back on this thread and let us know.

    Thanks!

outlook.com redirects to login.live.com, so that's the login page I use.

My browser's home page is google.com. Why is that relevant?

    Hi,

I'm happy to assist you with your concern regarding the website your send to after you signed out.

We need to ask a few questions to have a better understanding of the issue.

    * where you do usually sign in? Is it at https://login.live.com or https://msn.com?

    * What is your defaut web page?

You can find your default page through these steps:

    1. Open Internet Explorer
    2. Press Alt then F
    3. Select Toools
    4. Select Internet Options
    5. Under General Tab you will see the default web page under Home page text box.

We are looking forward to your response.

    Thank you

What does that mean? How does outlook determine which website to send me to when I logout?
