How do i prevent the outlook logout from redirecting to msn?

At some point signing out of Outlook started redirecting to MSN. This is really frustrating - especially when accidently clicking anywhere on the screen that is NOT the login field causes the login form to disappear.

How do I disable this redirect? I would like to see the outlook login page when I sign out - not the MSN news page.

Check your email, sign out and be redirected to horror!  I find the disturbing murders, **** and other violent crimes that are sensational on the MSN redirect to be absolutely hideous and a true horror.  I have selected my Home Page and IT IS NOT MSN.  How do I prevent the outlook logout from redirecting to MSN? ... The question remains unresolved into the year 2015 and beyond.  The trauma continues much to this unwilling viewer’s despair.  I cannot hit ‘Home’ fast enough.

    Hi,

I'm happy to assist you with your concern regarding the website your send to after you signed out.

We need to ask a few questions to have a better understanding of the issue.

    * where you do usually sign in? Is it at https://login.live.com or https://msn.com?

    * What is your defaut web page?

You can find your default page through these steps:

    1. Open Internet Explorer
    2. Press Alt then F
    3. Select Toools
    4. Select Internet Options
    5. Under General Tab you will see the default web page under Home page text box.

We are looking forward to your response.

    Thank you

    Hi Kurt Mathews,

Thank you for posting your issue here in Microsoft Community Forum.

Let me help you with your issue. I understand that when you sign out to your Outlook.com account, you were redirected to MSN page. I would like you to know that the landing page after you signed out of your account is random. It means that we don't have a definite or exact website after you log out of your account. Please observe on the coming days, you will see the Outlook.com sign in page again.

If you have more questions, always feel free to popst back.

    Thank you.
