How do i prevent the outlook logout from redirecting to msn?

At some point signing out of Outlook started redirecting to MSN. This is really frustrating - especially when accidently clicking anywhere on the screen that is NOT the login field causes the login form to disappear.

How do I disable this redirect? I would like to see the outlook login page when I sign out - not the MSN news page.

download or use your hostfile to block the msn website, bookmark outlook live sign in page, that way you will get redirected to a 404, then click bookmark to get back to the sign in page. I have looked around (not at 100%) and thats pretty much what i feel im going to end up doing.

    Oh. You're one of those.

I suppose Microsoft doesn't consider people making such dangerous conclusions when making the decision to forcibly show MSN.

Thannks a lot for your help, but a workaround is not the actual concern it is just a way to avoid the unwanted thing; I'm not having the expected result on Chromiun under Ubuntu it dosn't show the login page.
